Best Of 2010.

 This post would have never happened if not for this past torturous Sunday afternoon when I decided to sit down and map out some sort of plan of action for 2011. Doubt is my demon. I often think that I do not have what it takes to achieve all that I want to achieve. I discovered that when moments like this come there is nothing better than putting things into retrospective. This is exactly what I did and it turns out - 2010 was an amazing year!

 With in a span of this year I have managed to open my own Atelier. Renovate completely destroyed space and transform it into Hat Heaven. :-)

It was a difficult transition considering the fact that I had to fight against both: terrible for this kind of ventures global economy and my very stubborn accountant. Lesson learned? - sometimes following you heart is better than following your fear.

  I got to do an amazing trunk show at Henry Bendel. I had so much fun doing it!

I have designed and created my third, very technically challenging , Collection "The secret Lives Of Dolls". Not only that, but I got to style and direct the photo shoot of the editorial for my Atelier.

 I brought my new Collection to Paris and presented it during the Paris Fashion Week in October  of 2010. Fantastic experience. I still have butterflies in my stomach when I think of it. :-)))

 What even more mind blowing is the fact that Paris loved my hats!:-)))

 I have made a hat for my very first Vogue. Do you see? - I am still doing my happy dance! I have also made several more fantastic editorials in numerous Fashion Magazines and Blogs all over the world. :-)  I received an invitation to teach my very first millinery course.(I will tell you more about it later.)

 And fabulous "La Parisienne" still holds number 1 bestseller place in my Atelier. :-))). So, I suppose, I did OK in 2010 and it means I now have enough faith in myself to do even better in 2011. I have so many things I want to accomplish, so many ideas, projects, collaborations, so many new hats to design! :-))) I will keep it a secret for now, I have always been a little bit superstitious. :-) I promise to share everything with you when the time comes.

What even more amazing is that I got to have all of you in my life! I had a privilege to meet fantastic, talented, funny, smart people  whose support, opinion, comments and presence means a world to me. I hope to continue my friendship with you in 2011. I hope that this year will be even better than 2010!:-)
