StarMummy 2: FloWman

StarMummy 2: FloWman from Jake Kotze on Vimeo.

This is a collaboration between me and Jim Sanders.

Here's the first one we also did together.

Peace In = Peace Out

More words at The Blob

Will's addition;

A study highlighting the relation between Wolf and floW... Attention is brought to the moon in the Wolfman poster appropriately set due to the fact that the Moon also influences the raising of the Oceans tides. The Moon is intricate in both the development of the Wolf and controls the floW. These movies came out on the 12th of Feb. and bear remarkable resemblance to each other in the stance of the main characters. Seth Green of course being born on the 8th of Feb.... His Zodiac sign being Aquarius the water bearer.
These topics were originally brought to attention in the post Syncing... dam near drowning!

It is mid-day on three consecutive holidays today.
Though it doesn't relate to me.:-)

There are a lot of people who have uneasiness and hope in a new environment and a new meeting in spring.
As for my work, a new meeting increases.
What kind of guest comes?
It looks forward every year.
Guest met in this year.
My best regards.

I put these side by side, the align very subtly, visually. When ever we do this other syncs strange attract. Not that I've looked into more potential sync bleed-through here yet.

I called it Fearsome Symmetry as these words are in the poem The Tyger by William Blake.
Tiger is the sync overseer for 2010: The Year We Make Contact. Contact is learning to deal with being cosmic intelligences or God, the next step in humanities evolutionary stairway to heaven.
Here I put Hot Tub Time Machine and Repo Men side by side as I noted they both have two blueish vessel themes.
Jude Law holding a cup labeled Union and the Hot Tub suddenly revealed their vapor which made me think about Jimmy's Facebook status.

En la casa del senor siempre el vapor

Which the Internets machine translator says is:

In the house of the senor always the vapor

I think this is from one of Juan Flores' (sounds like One) Icaro's, songs he and Jim sing during Ayahuasca ceremony.
There is a natural hot spring at Juan's center for healing in the Jungles of Peru...
When I met Juan he was wearing Red Rimmed Glasses like the Hakim brand logo of Optical shops.
The Jupiter finger came out of this retreat with Juan and Jim.

Wrote allot about that as I was very into Seeing Red themes.

See Heal The World, Make It a Better Place.
To me it's a sign that he is a True Master.
A week ago I took this shot of the Billboard by Osborne Bridge. It does wacky sync stuff all the time. I took this particular one because it felt like the presence of the Master bleeding into the Fabric of Winnipeg and overseeing the Wholy Temple of Solomon in the Background.
Here is Juan Flores standing in the Pool of The Black Star at the Heart of The Winnipeg Legislature, the same Wholy Temple seen above with the Red Rimmed glasses like Juan. Juan Flores can be translated as Johnny Flowers. Appropriate for the floWering floW of consciousness coming out of the Shaman.
A little leaf G logo winks at bottom right of the billboard. The God in the plants.

Most recently I walk past the sign board, again noticing it continues to entrain with the Winnipeg/Juan resonance. Now proclaiming "Flower Power".
It feels like the Master is still here. This is always true as the consciousness coming through a Master or Buddha is the One true essence of all.
The Master just teaches us to see it in ourselves and the world and how they are One/Juan.
Jude Law is a Blue Star whose Blue Hand holds a cup of Union. The symbolic Wholy Grail signified clearly as such by the blood splatter.

This resonates Ayahuasca 2 a T. The Ayahuasca ceremony is a T party and the Wholy communion.

Peace In
Osborne Street window..
T time.

Toon Talk: Of Frogs and Fireflies

Fresh off of its theatrical run and three Academy Award nominations, Disney’s The Princess and the Frog is poised to become the hit it deserves to be with its debut on Disney Blu-ray and DVD this week.

When The Princess and the Frog was released just three months ago, it was met with critical acclaim (including from me) that hailed it as a worthy addition to Disney’s long line of animated classics. However, in the crowded holiday movie marketplace, this Princess never lived up to its full box office potential. But now that it has been released to home video, those families who were too busy with December festivities will have the chance to discover it for themselves ...

Sketch Club

Today we sketched at a skate park, it was REALLY challenging. After that I went and checked out a local dog park which was awesome. I got my dog fix and lots of doodling done. Need to work on my canine anatomy and catching both dogs and humans in action. Practice, Practice, Practice!

*the marker sketches are from drawing club a couple weeks back
PS: (22Mar10)
I needed a personal sketch break really bad tonight. So I sketched this little moment from the dog park where two dogs were fighting over a bright pink Frisbee and walking around like Siamese twins attached to it. Dogs are AMAZING! and i feel refreshed.

Top 50 Films of the Decade: Introduction (and the other 50)

In what I hope will be something that I can complete before I go back to school and work here is the first entry in my 'best of the decade' series. I'll unveil a new top ten with each entry. Here are my initial thoughts and 50 other films that make the back-end of a top 100. Remember, these exercises are entirely arbitrary, and I could probably find a good enough reason to reposition a lot of these choices. Feel free to discuss in the comments. Enjoy.

I don't feel like I can put some of my favorite films of the last ten years in here that were released during an entirely different decade. I'm speaking specifically here to Apocalypse Now Redux and Army of Shadows, both of which got theatrical releases the last ten years; also, I can't seem to find a place for Russian Ark or Grindhouse. Two very different films, sure, but they both qualify more as experiences than anything else, and they both have very distinct and different feels to them than all of the other 50 films on this list. Russian Ark with its single take is definitely more than a gimmick, and Grindhouse was one of the most surreal experiences for this fan of grindhouse cinema. Certainly the two films within Grndhouse Planet Terror and Death Proof – can be separated and reviewed as singular films, but I think doing that is to miss the point of what Tarantino and Rodriguez were going for here, and the only way I can certainly review the film is as the experience in the theater – fake trailers and all – that it was meant to be. So, these four films (I'm sure there are others, but I wanted to single these out) deserve special mention as I unveil my list.

This list was a lot of fun to compile. I hope it sparks some debate. This was a good decade for American film, and you're going to see a lot of it on here, but I also have to admit that I was extremely out of the loop of world cinema for the early part of this decade. If you don't see a film on this list there's a good chance that I haven't seen it…or I just didn't like it. Discuss…
