I've jut seen this movie, 2 days ago. It touched me a lot, became one of my favorites in a blink of an eye. Apart from the greatness of the film, their style is also amazing. They're all rich and preppy and I love how they're so careless about it, it all comes naturally.
This post is mostly about Margot's style, since, well, she's the girl in the movie whose style worths copying.
Her clothes are either Lacoste-ish or vintage, or the two mixed together. Pure love for someone like me, who adores all types of preppiness. Also, her hair is wonderful. Effortless and sophisticated.
Things you'll need to copy The Royal Tenenbaums style:
- Lacote tennis dresses and polos
- vintage fur coat
- an Hermes Birkin bag
- 60s-style loafers
Warning!
- I can't really tell you anything as a "don't", since Margot's style is absolutely okay to copy these days, like entirely. Only please, don't smoke as much. It kills.
