In Collider interview, Gary Oldman says of his role in Tinker, Tailor "It's probably the greatest role I've ever played."Oldman quoted by UKPA: "It's quintessentially British and very faithful to the book, but it's not like the TV series...It's an original screenplay that John le Carre loved and signed off on so it got his blessing."
