Besides the delicate beauty of a butterfly, I would like to interpret Sarah Burton's use of butterflies for the Alexander McQueen spring line as a fresh start and a transformation in the McQueen house. The late--and remarkably talented designer-- left the fashion world shocked when he committed suicide last February.
