My Wonderful Winner + A Little Secret About My "Noel" Hat :-)))

As my first year in Blogospehere coming to an end, I am stunned by the realisation of how many wonderful friends, divine inspirations and beautiful people I was lucky enough to find here. One of them is extraordinarily talented, fantastic Noel of Fanciful Designs who creates magic flowers out of paper as well as many other fabulous things. A while ago I have asked Noel to send me one of her creations - a little Marie Antoinette shoe. When the shoe arrived, it truly took my breath away. Not only the shoe itself was nothing short of spectacular work of art, but the entire presentation left me speechless.

The shoe was wrapped in a piece of white French linen - so luxurious and soft I simply could not bare for it to be put away in one of my fabric draws. Inspired by Noel's gorgeous presentation, I decided to use French linen to create this beautiful hat in a shape of "Dior Beret". I thought that French linen and large jewels will make a fantastic combination for spectacular jeweled Summer hat. I decided to name this hat "Noel". :-) Here you see "Noel" photographed in my Atelier ( click on the picture to see lager version.)
