Tangled - 5 fun new trailers

"Walt Disney Pictures presents TANGLED, one of the most hilarious, hair-raising tales ever told. When the kingdom's most wanted—and most charming—bandit Flynn Rider (voice of ZACHARY LEVI) hides out in a mysterious tower, he's taken hostage by Rapunzel (voice of MANDY MOORE), a beautiful and feisty tower-bound teen with 70 feet of magical, golden hair.

Flynn's curious captor, who's looking for her ticket out of the tower where she's been locked away for years, strikes a deal with the handsome thief and the unlikely duo sets off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse, an over-protective chameleon and a gruff gang of pub thugs. In theaters starting November 24, 2010, TANGLED is a story of adventure, heart, humor and hair—lots of hair."

Tangled - trailer

Here's an extended trailer for Disney's upcoming Tangled featuring Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi based on the fairytale Rapunzel.

Tangled (2010)

A friend was just mentioning last week how we were surprised that Disney hadn't yet made a movie about Rapunzel and voilà! Release date: November 24

"In this new telling of the classic fairy tale, Rapunzel, audiences will be transported to a stunning CG fantasy world complete with the iconic tower, an evil witch, a gallant hero and, of course, the mysterious girl with the long golden tresses. Expect adventure, heart, humor, and hair… lots of hair, when Rapunzel unleashes her locks in theaters for the 2010 holiday." The voice cast includes Ewan Macgregor and Steve Martin.
Music by Alan Menken.

Wonder if the squirrel in earlier pics has been replaced by chameleon?

The story is based on the classic German fairy tale Rapunzel by the Brothers Grimm and the movie’s visual style is being based on French Rococo artist Jean-Honore Fragonard’s painting “The Swing” shown on left.

I suppose this image will be changed since it's no longer being called Unbraided...
(mta - new title is TANGLED)

This is one of those fairytales that I've forgotten how it unfolds, but I found this synopsis of the plot on wikipedia.
