Please welcome my photo report slideshow from the fantastic launch party of MAC's latest collection, Wonder Woman, and three smaller collections, the Sheen Supreme Lipstick, the Creme Blend Blush and the new Viva Glam with a darker nude color lipstick and lipgloss.
The party was great, and I couldn't help but desperately want a huge compact highlighter-blush-bronzer trio from the Wonder Woman collection, so I bought it. Shame on me. It's gorgeous though.
My favorite piece from the WW collection besides the compact is the golden color pigment. That's something to die for really.
The red lipstick and red (raspberry flavored) lipgloss are as seen on the model in the slideshow. They are also really pretty.
All in all, I must admit I adore the new collection(s), and I'm very contented with the new pieces. Oh, I almost forgot - the purple mascara is a must! xo
You might remember her as Emily, the "super intern" from The Hills, when Lauren Conrad & Whitney Port were still amateurs in becoming reality stars & fashion entrepreneurs, starting as Teen Vogue interns. Today she is a Vogue fashion assistant, and a blogger of the site,Into the Gloss, which I've been keeping eyes on for months now. Although I'm not a make-up fan, I find her blog refreshing enough to share with you all. You will surely recognize faces from the fashion industry along with inspiring everyday people, giving a take on their daily beauty rituals & must-have products. If you are into make-up, & experimenting with new beauty products, well then this is the site for you. enjoy xo
okay so we moved back to our renewed apartment with my mom a week or so ago. it took pretty long to unpack everything, but the most difficult part of everything definitely was (and is) to find a way to organize my makeup stuff.
so as you see i just basically threw everything onto the table, but i really haven't the foggiest idea about how to organize them. how do you guys manage to keep your makeup in order? and of course i'd love the things i put my stuff into to look okay-ish. you know, like...you know. kay sooo help me out with this one, pleaseee :) xo
no doubt i have the best boyfriend ever. seriously. you know there's this lipstick, Pink Friday by Nicki Minaj at MAC you can only get 4 times, four fridays - the alst friday will be the 17th of december. now my boyfriend just came over to my place today, and gave me the most amazing pre-christmas gift EVER!
i've been lusting after this lipstick ever since i found out they gonna sell it, and here it is, right on my makeup table. it's pink, it's nicki minaj, it's MAC, it's a lipstick - what else can i say? it's just perfect. anyways, i just adore my boyfriend. i'm gonna post pictures of me wearing this lipstick tomorrow or monday or whenever. what do you think? :)
p.s.: sorry for not posting for so long, but i was sick, and then really busy for a week, but now i'm sick again, though not too sick to post, so here we go :) have a lot to post about ;) xo
i've purchased a few stuff in France at MAC and Claire's. let me show you my favorites.
my favorite favorite favorite is this one - the "Rose" pigment by MAC. amazing. golden-red-pink...lovely.
the "Violet" pigment by MAC. i adore its color. smooth, glossy and beautiful.
the "Blackground" paint pot by MAC. great base for the "Rose" pigment or any sparkling eyeshadow.
the "Bare Study" paint pot by MAC. it's fabulous as the base of, well, anything. it has a little purple glow, though it can't really be seen on the picture.
and my favorite is...
i know, it's creepy, but it's gorgeous! it tickles my eyebrows, which is weird.
what are your favorite MAC or any kind of makeup products? i can't wait to read about your thoughts :) xo
fashion designer Jason Wu just started his collaboration with Supreme Aupres, making skin care, hair care, nail care and mostly makeup products of course. Wu invented a new formula, the "soufflé" formula of the eyeshadows, which come in jewel-topped compacts and look amazing.
the "soufflé" formula means simply that it's a powder, which becomes a soft, light gel immediately when contacting skin. at least they say it happens this way. anyway, the collection is surely eye-catching, glamorous and elegant enough, also no doubt that the quality is also excellent, so if anyone of you would want to throw an eyeshadow - like below - at me, i wouldn't throw it back or anything.
on the NYFW this September, Jason Wu's make-up pros used these products for the models' makeups, nails and hair. i think they all look really good, simple make-up, still strong, significant colors...fascinating.
what do you think? personally, i believe the collection was made especially for asian women, since the eyeshadow looks ten times better on the asian girl then on the blond girl. or, at least, the color's not the right one for the blondie.
...and is staying for like 3 months!? brangelina! yes, the whole jolie-pitt family's gonna move to hungary until after christmas, 'cause for some reason, jolie directed a new movie which they going to shoot here, or something. in fact, they're going to move to the district that's right by the district where i live, so if i ever pass by their home, i'll post pictures.
oh, and katy perry is here in hungary too, since monday, and came out from her hotel room for the first time today, so the TV channels are full of her. she's gonna have a concert on friday. i think stars love hungary these days. haha.
the sartorialist celebrated it's birthday yesterday. happy birthday! the sartorialist is 5 yrs old, just like my favorite blog, the Refinery 29.
i love MAC's video journal they kept through NYC fashion week. you can watch a lot of them on MAC Cosmetics' YouTube channel.
i've been to the pre-launch party of MAC's new collection, Disney's Venomous Villains Collection. i loved it! for some reason, i brought my boyfriend with me, which meant that i had to concentrate on keeping him quiet rather than on leaning how to make the Evil Queen's makeup.
but please, let me show you, what i saw there.
if only it wouldn't be so expensive...
anyways, sorry for being a bad blogger these days, i have more than too much to do. i'm the CEO of a Young Enterprise company, i'm studying, having a personal life and studying for TOEFL (no, i actually do not study for it, it just sounds good).
but i plan to change the blog's skin soon, and i will totally get back on track soon, and continue working on the blog too.
it's a MAC makeup tutorial by a senior artist, Luc. i love the look, though it's weird, because when i took a makeup course at MAC last week, we've learned a totally different technique to make smoky eyes - a more difficult and less everyday-looking one. i couldn't say i like this one better, because for a party or something, the one i've learned last week is definitely better, but i could wear this one a lot more often.
i've been using makeup for like 8 or 9 years now and i always had a thing for makeups. and now - i ordered this 120 color make-up palette and 24 piece brush kit from ebay and fell for it. i play with it every afternoon - i make funky eyeshades for my mom and myself, try every color as a blush (okay sometimes green blush looks kinda weird. in fact, really weird..) and just, well, figure out which brush works with what kind of makeup product. so it's soooo much fun and i decided to go to a makeup workshop. MAC organizes classes, so i signed up for them...but they didn't call me yet.
anyways, you guys should definitely expect me to write about makeup a lot in the future...or not a lot, but of course more than before.
and now let me show you a few cool pictures (i know, most of them are actually photoshop-ed, and wouldn't even look good in real life, but still, they are great. i mean the colors, shadings, shapes and all).
