Dora Mojzes SS2011 Lookbook

A few days earlier I got the biggest surprise in my blogger life ever: a designer, whom I already posted about a few months earlier, e-mailed me. Dora Mojzes personally sent me her latest lookbook and a little description about it, and asked me to blog about the new collection if I like it. And I love it! So now I can proudly say my readers are the first people to see Dora Mojzes' SS 2011 lookbook! 
It's a colorful, feminine collection. I adore the chic leggings and the pencil skirt, but every looks are fresh and perfect for spring and summer. 

The 2011 spring-summer collection was inspired by the Roman legionary wearing, which I combined with psychedelic elements.  In the silhouette of my clothes I used the roman wearing, and the colors and patterns are slightly inspired by techno. As a difference from my previous collection, I rarely used black; I felt it kind of challenging to use rousing colors. The main colors are green and blue, pink and red. The other difference is that my first shoe collection is ready!

recent designer obsession of mine - Naeem Khan

Naeem Khan (born May 21, 1958 in Mumbai, India) is an Indian-born, American fashion designer. He is the designer and CEO for Naeem Khan, which was launched in 2003. His designs have been worn by celebrities including Beyonce Knowles,Carrie Underwood, Eva Longoria Parker and Brooke Shields, and by First Lady Michelle Obama.

this designer caught me for some reason i can hardly explain. india is everywhere in his designs, i believe. 
i scammed through all his collections and i really do love everything he does. shiny fabrics, sequined pieces, flower-ish patterns...so gorgeous!
as a kind of time traveling, let's see his 2007 NYFW runway collection.

Naeem Khan himself

another hungarian designer - Dora Mojzes.

it might seem like everyone in hungary has the name Dora, but it's just a coincidence that Dora Mojzes is a Dora just like Dora Abodi, whom i posted about earlier.

 i like her stuff, though they're too dark and heavy metal for me sometimes - but her AW 2010/2011 collection contains even white pieces as well as the usual black and red.

17 yrs old designer, Sarah Leora.

Sarah Silverman (no, not that one), a 17 years old girl from East Hampton just launched her own clothing line under the name Sarah Leora. 
her inspiration is Audrey Hepburn (of course...) and she took a summer course at FIT, then she released her first look book now. 
her website looks fun and teenage-ish at the first sight, but the photos of the clothes on models (strangely, there's no available look book on the site) are pretty serious and well done.
she doesn't have too many designs, but what she has is kinda good, though for some reason, i really don't like the models she works with.
