SketchCrawl # 28

For this sketchcrawl we went to Hollywood and Highland, some sketched people, some architecture, some did both. I had a lot of fun and it's always nice to meet up with friends and also make new ones. Hope to see everyone again next time!

Probably should have taken a group shot as well as more photos but oh well. Next time :]

27th World Wide SketchCrawl

Oh my goodness, the weather today was terrifying, barely anyone survived the ruthless trip...
Okay, okay so there were no Actual casualties in the line of duty. These were just some Awesome trees I saw at a park next to the pier. After a week of beautiful sunny days, SketchCrawl turned to overcast and very cold wind. And my goodness was it Cold! It was really challenging for me to draw, when it gets too cold out my hands start to lock up and ache really bad. But I fought through for a good couple hours.

So anyway, without further gilding the Lilly here's my sketches from today

It was a fun day despite the weather, got to catch up with friends and draw, what more can a girl ask for. :]

SketchCrawl 24: Results

WOW, I can't even express how amazing yesterday was! Started with some quality one on one time with my sketchbook. The LA group went to Grand Central Market, Bradburry building (used in Blade Runner), and a couple of us went to a hilltop garden across the street to see a beautifully lit skyline (yay magic hour). Then after that I attended the top notch Terrible Yellow Eyes show at Nucleus. What an amazing show one of the best I've seen of today's artist. Met a lot of wonderful people and had my mind blown many times talking about art. Oh it was AMAZING, I'm still smiling about it. :D

Hope everyone else had a spectacular day!!!

Sketcrawl 23: Results

Mazda Dealership / Echo Park

LA ZOO

What a day, up at 7 to get an oil change, then straight to Echo park followed by a quick zoo trip all the while drawing my various destinations. Could my day have gotten better...? Only if I remembered to get a strawberry lemonade.
Had an amazing time today and met some great new friends and possibly some future zoo buddies :]

Happy 23rd Sketchcrawl everybody!

if you didn't go this time you better make it next time!
