audrey's a legend. she was a beautiful, delicate lady, always elegant, sophisticated and classy. she's everything a girl should be.
it's weird how nowadays a real lady sips martini or champagne, wears pastels and has absolutely no sense of humor. see audrey was not at all like that - she drunk scotch, smoked a lot, was really funny, had a manly sense of humor.
audrey was the one who actually invented the LBDs. she always wore them. or cigarette pants. she liked tiaras, gloves and statement necklaces or pearls. and diamonds, of course.
i really love audrey hepburn tho. i have an old picture from a magazine on the wall in my room in which she's sitting at a table with a man. and of course, she's gorgeous.
i found a picture on polyvore in which they try to ummm copy the audrey-look.
i love the dress. and i have the same shoes in white [oscar de la renta].
in the 1950s, dior made audrey-ish stuff. i found a gorgeous vintage dior suit in which i could totally imagine myself. and audrey, of course.
so although i'm not delicate, not beautiful, not so classy and not always very elegant, i would totally copy her style. she is an icon. alexa chung, lady gaga or madonna's daughter are not icons, despite the opinion of the...world, i guess. or just the media. doesn't matter.
so yeah, she's my number one inspiration. now i only have to love 75 percent of my entire body weight to look kinda like her. good.
anyway, thanks for the little black dress, the cigarette holder, the cigarette pants, and breakfast at tiffany's, audrey!
