Renaissance Fair

So how incredible was my day... so wonderful I can't put it into words so here are some sketches to explain. This was probably the first real weekend that I haven't been working my butt off since I graduated a year ago. I forgot how wonderful spending time with friends can be, you guys are AWESOME! We went to the Renaissance Fair in Irwindale. Too many amazingly crazy characters! Next year we might just have to dress up.

And I'm sure you're curious how these wonderful masterpieces were created. The top is a crayon collaboration of everyone's creativity at the dinner table (you know the whole "I put down a line, I'll raise you a squiggle" game), but all cred for Petunia goes to Brandon, Ahhh! Real Monsters eat your heart out. And the two faces at the bottom are my doodles of Katie and Brandon because I can't sit still. More restaurants should serve crayons and big sheets of paper! :]







I also had a wonderful time touring Hollywood Saturday with Wilson, and if you've never checked out Barnsdall park it is amazing. I could never find any evidence of one of my favorite childhood movies which was "The Story of Robin Hood" and today thanks to him I bought it from Amazon. I'm kind of freaking out. This is seriously the best weekend I've ever had. Hope everyone else had a marvelous weekend!
